Keynote youth speaker Cris Johnson designed this elementary school assembly
program to get your students excited about reading! It's been called the perfect kick-
off for a P.A.R.P. (parents as reading partners) campaign by many of his past clients.
Like all of Cris' other programs, "I Love To Read!" is equally effective for middle school
assemblies as it is for primary schools.
Customized for different grade levels...
Students of all ages will benefit from Cris' encouragement to read because it's
FUN. He also explains MANY reasons why it's absolutely necessary to have good
reading skills throughout life.
Students in grades 4-6, or middle school audiences, are also treated to two
riveting, true stories. One tells the tale of an illiterate high school student from Cris'
past. The other relates the tale of a famous professional athlete & TV personality
who's poor reading and comprehension skills have derailed his career in two major
professions. Older grades will also witness an eye-popping display of magic that
ties in extremely well with Cris' presentation on dyslexia.
